Building these banjos with their unique sound from a time now passed is an enjoyable labour of love.

Over the years I have developed a tension system to adjust the head just like on modern banjos and a laminated neck eliminate any tension warp.

I take particular care with the installation of the friction tuning pegs so instruments are easy to keep in tune.

All banjos are fitted with Nylgut strings.

After years of teaching and performing I have retired to sit back and enjoy life.

I am still writing and recording, but spend more time these days building Banjos, and creating my Art Photography.  

I still perform occasionally for fund raisers and community events.
